Hey there,
Just in the midst of building my 83 reg cab short box k10 with a rebuilt 700r4 and t-case as well as a new crate gm goodwrench small block 350/290 horse. The truck comes with an electrical oil pressure guage that wasn't working, temp guage that i have a new sender but the guage is screwy, battery guage and a clock that work fine. I would like to have true readings off this new mill in the heat and oil pressure department and was told to use a mechanical oil pressure guage and sender... I understand that you can buy many types of guages that can be installed under the dash or something but i was curious whether anyone can give me the brand and or part number for aftermarket mechanical guages that will fit pretty with not too much modification? Thanks in advance guys.

Here's what I did to my beater truck it was a cheap nice looking solution, I think. My ground up build I will probably using Dakota gauges, but if your just replace one or want a cheap fix read my thread below.

Thanks a ton 816, was teh 2" tach sunpro as well??

No I think they only make a 3" (which I have also but was too big for that spot). So I went to a store here a bought a 2" tach from them for like $25. It bums me out a little cause the bezel is grey plastic instead of the chrome bezel of the Sunpor, but becuase it was in my beater did not bother me too much. You can order it online if you do not have a store by you (you can change color of little buy a press of a button:
