Lately, I've noticed my spare/extra parts pile has been growing like a weed along the freeway exit.
Mainly the pile is older brake caliper, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, alternators, steering wheels...etc...
The parts I'm looking for seem to elude me or are out of budget are fenders and left door without rotted out low portions. I already have a rotted out set.
Metal strips for the flooring of the step side bed and the floor wood kit (have ya noticed the price of oak lately?).
I'd like a good set of front fender emblems as the po decided they would look good in primer gray and I don't.....

I'd be soaking those emblems in some thinner if they are the metal ones

nope... the 74 I have has the plastic emblems.

at this point it sounds like you dont have much to lose in trying to refinish them. Not sure if Chris (the site owner) sells them here or not.
