Title: Rebulding My 78 K30 Wrecker

Short on time, trying to rebuild rip-van winkle before snow fall. So far removed hood ,inner and outer fenders, cab. Replaced exhaust man flow gaskets ,changed valve cover gaskets Tomorrow going to replace the clutch,and transmission the old one pops out of third  it is a ms 465 ,Photos to follow

Converting cab from two wheel drive to four wheel drive. New higher transmission hump

This is what happens when you install a 283 pan on a 400 small block. You have a oil leak that looks like a rear main

Here's what it looks like with the cab on the frame. Give us a few more days and I'll put up pics with the fenders and hood on it

This is what we ran into when we put a 73 c10 cab on a 78 k30 frame. We had to change the transmission hump, cut the dash wider for the heater controls, cut the dash for the wiper switch, the heater box was different so we swapped that over, relocate the seat belt holes because 73 had a lap belt and the 78 had a shoulder harness seat belt.

Wow. This is cool.
I really wish I had the tools, the skill and the knowledge to do this kind of work. Shoot, doing a brake job makes me nervous. Can imagine pulling the body off the frame.
