Same place I got the Crew Cab dually... They have a red 84 C30 SRW with a utility box. I am pretty sure it is a standard 131.5" wheel base truck. Well we are not far away in their rock bottom price and my offer so we'll see... Plans are to make it a dually and put the bed off the Crew cab on it if I get it. Pictures to follow if it comes through. Never had a standard cab C30 dually before...

I really think you do need a 12 step program....lol....but if I had money I would have more trucks then I have now. I am still looking for a crew cab, but I kind of want 4x4 for the winters here, which are not easy to find.

12 step program?? Ha, ha, that's funny. I used to see a bag of trash at the side of the road and wonder if it wanted a home. Sometimes it would follow me home. Forget the 12 step program, the only way to go is cold turkey like I did. lol

zieg is my hero :))

Well......... my offer was accepted and I pick it up tomorrow or the next day.... Stay tuned for pictures...

Well I am jealous....I wish I had as many as you did. I only have one that runs (which is a rust bucket) and one that half runs.

Don't be... I am getting the latest just to have something to haul in... My 86 has been sitting for about 5 years, my crew cab runs but doesn't have a title, my extended cab doesn't do anything except cruise in when it is nice out and my 85 C20 is torn apart getting a facelift. It is a sickness for sure, something you really don't want...

Here is it, such as it is... Made it almost 1/2 way home and boom... Had my very first blow out... Luckily I was only about 1 mile from my dads house so I limped it over there. I'll go there tomorrow with another tire and bring it home.
-
That's really nice, Carl... the truck, not the blowout! When you said it was your very first blowout, did you mean the first ever... ever?

First ever, ever. What I consider my first real job, 46 hours a week as summer help at a Goodyear tire and auto I got a real appreciation to having safe tires under me. At the time Indiana had yearly inspections and I learned a lot about safety. I am sure luck is on my side as not hitting any road hazards has something to do with it but this was my first one and boy they give a loud boom... Luckily I was only doing about 15 mph when it let loose...

Even at 15 MPH, it will rivet your attention!

nice....you plan on leaving the service bed on it??....or do you not really have any plans yet??

Service bed is for sale here in the classifieds and on Craigslist. Plans are to convert it to a true dually with the rear end, bed and rotors from my crew cab. I will use it the way it is in the meantime.

Wonder what it would look like to fab up some dually fenders to put on the utility bed? Guess it depends on what kind of hauling you are planning...just a thought

Well just in case you want another one, I was looking for a crew cab (I would like one eventually) and found this one only about an hour and some away from you.

5 is my limit I am afraid. My wife squawked about the latest and shot down several before this one...

Ive got a program for you. No more then 12 steps away from another square body.
