Title: Big Block motor mount at the motor

Scratching my head over this one. The original clamshells are ready for the new poly inserts, but the big block that was in the truck did not come with the mounts on the motor. Now every BB engine mounts that I have been able to locate are at most 2 1/2 inches wide, while the Clamshell frame mount is 3 1/2  inche wide. Any suggestion?

     I am not an engine guy, have you tried a local speed shop or something like that near you ?

Yeah no luck only thing I can find is complete mounts which sucks when I already have the Poly insert for the  stock Clamshell. Gonna keep looking I guess.

in a 1/2T truck you don't have to use 1T BBC sets, the SBC ones work just fine.
