I've hung doors with power locks and windows this weekend. It's actually looking like a truck again. Just in time as snows around the corner. I'm having an issue with the locks. I've got power at the switch, orange/blk wire, but nothing else. I don't hear the relay picking up even when I short across the switch. Where should the relay be located? What's it look like? Gonna trace the wires back in the morning but figured you guys might be able to save me a lot of time. Thanks.

They are under the dash near the throttle pedal.

Thanks thirsty. Is it on the vertical bracket with the black box in the rear and what looks like a flasher plug in and mine has a white colored relay?

found it. it was bugging me so i was in the garage at 1130 last night looking around. finally crawled back up under the dash and moved the cc box and pushed back some firewall insulation and there it was. now i just need to play with it a little as the doors will only lock. I should be able to put a meter across the switch and see it change state, right? thanks for the help.

I ran into the Same problem when I got mine and I ended up buying a relay which are hard and expensive to come by but.....it ended up only being the switch if there's any corrosion it won't work I cleaned mine up with battery cleaner works like a charm o and just FYI the relay is metal because it grounds out to the bracket it's bolted up too. so make sure it's got a good ground

I mounted mine on the side of the throttle pedal bracket. I took it out of a blazer with A/C and remember that it was hard to reach but don't remember exactly where it was. I wanted to be able to reach mine if I ever needed to so I just found a place where it fit. Maybe my location is correct, I don't know.

May not be where the factory put it, but if it is easy to get to and your foot does not hit it, then it is probably.better than factory.
