I see a lot of major tear downs/rebuilds happening in shops w/ 2-3 stalls that can be dedicated to their work . I have a two car garage and my '77 in one side and (new) work car in the other side. I want to see how creative fellow 73-87 members have gotten, to do long term major build-ups in limited space! Pictures of your creativity is a bonus.

I see this was your first post 1Cobra427. Welcome to the site.
I got no great pics to show you but I can tell you all about long term in a limited space. ;D
The bed of my truck was and still is a storage facility sometimes. When I had the bed off I always had wood across the frame to put stuff on. I have a lift kit so that was handy too when I wasn't working on it I could put a lot of stuff under it. Last winter I had my Haulmark trailer near the back door of the garage and used that for project storage. Having an extra shed ten feet away from the door was handy.
Not 100% project related but still related. I have a pit in my garage. We also have a few parties every year that require a clean garage. When I am getting ready for one of the parties guess where a lot of my stuff goes? Sucks taking it all back out afterwards though.

After coating chassis I just hung it up in the ceiling so I could utilize the space underneath. Didnt have a pic, but you can set your cab inside your bed too.

Welcome to the site. Thirsty is correct, you will find out that you will get tired of moving truck parts back and forth and back and forth. But for those of us who are dedicated we don't mind and when it is all said and done, we appreciate our trucks that much more.
Good luck and look forward to viewing your progress.

A guy near me with a truck like mine rented a 10' x 30' unit a a self storage facility to part out chevy trucks inside of. Wasn't the best set up but it worked for me, ahh, I mean him.

Great creativity! I guess I need to spend some time lookin at options. Storage facility may be the best one. No way to put a shed based on my property and overhead hanging is not working due to over garage room. Plus I work on one area at a time w/o major tear down because of these limits. For now, I can just drive and maintain until the child graduates and moves on..then get a house w/ proper garage space. Thanks for input. I am watchin all of you for inspiration!!!

2 kids in college... need I say more. But hopefully a 32x54 building is in my future. Been cramped forever, I just need to keep this obsession in check...

So now you have to start collecting garages too? ;D
