Title: Oh that smell!
Post by: thirsty on December 04, 2012, 08:40:48 pm
I haven't needed to move my 86 for a while but tonight I took it out so I could do a bunch of oil changes. Usually just getting in it makes me happy enough but taking it out around the yard and the smell of high octane exhaust when I brought it back in made my night. ;D

I know...I'm simple that way. :o

That's like Sunday I was re grooving Yellow Snow's tires. I took me back 25 years ago when I would destroy a perfectly good pair of tires in a night, or two. Then my car would have that burnt rubber smell in it for a few weeks!  8)

The last time that happened to me I had the smell of gear oil in the garage too from spider gears that turned into spider nuggets. ;D

Great story, but I gotta say, when I read the title I was looking forward to a story about you firing up your wood stove for the first time this year.
