Title: Brake light warning light
Post by: jdp_509 on December 10, 2012, 10:17:27 am
On my 83 K10 the brake light warning light stays on all the time. My question is what trigger this light to come on excluding the parking brake?

The brake proportioning valve is the other item that triggers the warning light

Yea like zieg said the brake proportional valve will cause that but.... usually theres something to go with it, like low fluid, busted line, bad wheel cylnder etc? Let us know what you find out.
