Title: question about my truck

ok i have bought me another dually as everyone knows but the question i have is the badging on it says its a silverado which i thought was like top of the line has all the perks but min has manual windows and manual locks. i thought if it being a silverado would have the power windows and power locks is it still a silverado or did someone just put the badges on also its a 1982 chevy c30 thanks for the help if you can

Power windows and power locks was still an option you had to pay for beyond the Silverado package

No problem, as I understand it and have seen it, Silverado was an interior upgrade to full carpet, headliner, a nicer seat, brushed aluminum instrument cluster dash bezel along with matching insert in the dash pad.  I have seen or had Silverado's that were non-AC and with vinyl floor and seat but most opted for the fully loaded version.

yeah my truck has ac radio carpet cloth seats just doesnt have the power windows powerlocks

The Silverado Trim level was mainly the bright trim work (Chrome) being standard, the upgraded instrument panel in woodgrain or aluminum standard, full gauges standard, pull straps w/chrome buttons standard, lower carpeting with vinyl trim standard.  This was based on what came with the Z84 for early years or Z62 in the later years.

Radios, power windows, Power locks, power steering, big brakes etc were all options that were not related to the trim level.  It isn't like the bundled trim of today.  Example: You can't get the top of the line truck with no power window or locks now, then you could...
