Title: Replaced my heater core!
Post by: 1979C20 on December 31, 2012, 05:15:51 pm: Took me 9 hours because i kept running into problems. Just so everyone know,.on some heater boxes the back panel is on piece of plastic and you have to pull one of the hinge pins out and unbolt the vacuum actuator for the feet/top vent in order to pull the back panel. But it feela aooooo good to have heat again. Does anybody have a source for blend door parts?

Post by: ehjorten on January 03, 2013, 01:46:32 pm: I always pull the wheel-well. After trying to not do it, I found it is just so much more easy to access those couple of nuts that are down low on the firewall.
