Took me 9 hours because i kept running into problems. Just so everyone know,.on some heater boxes the back panel is on piece of plastic and you have to pull one of the hinge pins out and unbolt the vacuum actuator for the feet/top vent in order to pull the back panel. But it feela aooooo good to have heat again. Does anybody have a source for blend door parts?

I need to do mine. It has a/c. I've heard factory a/c heater core replacement is really a p.i.t.a.
-
They are entertaining, but not too bad. In comparison to an S series they are a cake walk.

I replace mine two Weeks ago, but I took the easy route and cut the box. 1-1/2 hrs...

I guess I am not understanding...I have done this on both of my 3rd gen trucks (which both have factory A/C) and it was pretty simple.

They are pretty simple, but if you have never done one on anything it can seem like a pain, until you do something that is really difficult.

I always pull the wheel-well. After trying to not do it, I found it is just so much more easy to access those couple of nuts that are down low on the firewall.
