Title: What bucket seats fit in a 1984 c10 stepside
Post by: flyboys101 on January 02, 2013, 07:38:51 pm
Was thinking about replacing my beatup bench seat with two buckets from maybe a passenger car.

Was hoping to see what people have done on here.

Was hoping for the same seat height as my bench. Maybe something from a later model car?

Thoughts? Thanks.

I fabricated brackets and put Caravan bucket seats in a couple of our trucks over the years.

Thanks for input guys.

Promisekeeper- I have read more then a 100 of them so far and thought only 1 had something I was interested in. Most are older too. Thanks though.

Looking for something a bit more sportier then your standard bench with velour. Was thinking more sports car oriented. Did like the one thread that had Procars from summit, but budget is small and was hoping for something out of a junk yard.

Has anyone used something from a sports car or european sports car?

Truck build is leaning towards a pro touring kind of feel. Low, mean, tons of tire stuffed into the wells.
Thanks.

If you get the brackes and mounting from a Suburban and modify the bottoms of a passenger car to mount to them, you should have them close to the same height, but remember, most cars are made to mount low.
