Does anyone have the length of the driveshaft in front of the center bearing on a long box behind a turbo 400
-
Are you asking the length of the drive shaft of a long bed pick up with a turbo 400 transmission ? We will need some more info.
What rear end do you have ? ( I assume you have a c series truck and not a k series ) the pumpkins on the different axles will have different length pinion shafts which will make a difference in total length of the drive shaft.

yup give me a day to get it

Thanks my buddy has an assortment of shafts. I don't have the tranny in yet but I'd like to get the shaft ready . The truck originally had a 700r4 I guess. I know they are diff. Lengths.

Yikes! you said center bearing did you mean crewcab? Maybe I misunderstood you.

Depending on year, engine, transmission, etc.- some long bed, regular cab, 2wd trucks had a center bearing...
I don't have a measurement; but if all else fails and you can't find the exact length shaft, you just need to find a front shaft (shaft from the tranny to center bearing) that is longer than what you need. You can take that shaft and have it cut the correct length, which is much less expensive than having to have a new one made. Of course the splines, etc. of the new short shaft must match the remainder of the your driveshaft assembly. It would also be a good time to have the shafts balanced to ensure that you don't get weird vibrations/oscillations.
