Link to a photo of a part from my '85 K1500. I just replaced my windshield washer pump. This part was in line with the hose about 4" from the pump. Looks to be some kind of restrictor or one-way valve. In my ham-handed investigations I broke this one. Wondering where I can get another or if I even need to replace it. Can't find any mention of this part in my Clymer manual. Thanks!

Welcome to the site!
Yes, that is a one-way valve (has a little rubber flap inside) to keep the fluid from draining back between uses...some vehicles have them & some don't. I haven't seen where it's all that important. Lorne

Thanks for the info & link. For $20 plus shipping I think I'll try to live without it.

You can go down to an oreillys in the "Help!" Section and get a vacuum check valve thats about the same size line and use it. Works all the same. Motormite(Dorman) part number 47149 should work, $4.99.
