i had a set of electric doors, i thought i wanted to kinda stick to a classic and keep the manual doors, so i got rid of my spare doors. now im kinda regretting it and want electric windows and locks, how hard is it to run power to them etc? is it really worth it do they have problems?

The easiest way is to take the harness out of a donor truck, but can be done by wiring them off a diagram also.
If you are asking if they have more problems than the manual windows ? My answer is yes. Anything electronic will have more problems than something of the same that is manual, that is the price we pay for convenience.
But if you make sure to go through the electric windows and clean and lube everything from the start, they should give you years of trouble free service.

I converted my crewcab to electric, wow that took some time, however i adjusted and cleaned everything.Make sure you fasten all the wires in the door correctly as I had a plastic keeper clip break and allowed the power wire to rub on bare metal.

I did the same thing as pholliday1 did. Power windows and locks. I got a harness from another forum member and went at it. It wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. but it still was a pain. Iv also added keyless entry still trying to tweek that.

The doors themselves are exactly the same, it is the regulators that are different along with the motor and wiring.

I see that this is for power windows. Does it not include power locks or am I missing something? Is there a separate power lock kit available?
