Title: Fuel smell
Post by: Cruz.cab on March 04, 2013, 11:11:53 pm
So a week ago I replaced the rubber hose at the fuel pump on the engine (350 stock fuel pump) but I still get a gas smell every now and then when I drive it for a long period of time I'm not to sure on the vent setup I've got dual tanks were do I begin to look ??smell??

I only notice it when it's off like a lingering smell and after a drive of probably half hour

Check for wetness around the fuel pump. it make be going bad and gas is leaking out of the weep hole on the pump.
