Now this sounds like something that has already been posted in the Tech section, but a little different. I have noticed water on my floor on the driver side under my floor mate. Now I live in Cali, and it hasnt been raining at all. Also there is no sign of water from anywhere dripping down. Now when I remove my floor mate the water goes away. It is like with the mate in place it sweats under the mate. but take the mate away and no water ever shows. Weird.

If it hasn't been raining, I would suspect it to be just condensation collecting under the mat. While rubber mats are great, there have been a lot of old Ford, Chevy/GMC and Dodge trucks that have lost a part or all of their floor due to rust from condensation collecting under the rubber mat over time.

Pedigo78, you are stationed by the ocean correct ? Do you ever leave your windows down part of the day ?
The air itself around the ocean is heavy with water vapor. I live in Sac. And when I go to the ocean I can tell the difference.

no i usually roll them up all the way, so maybe it is just sweating. it isnt bothering me to bad yet. i just moved the mat

Just for curiosity's sake, I think I'd take the kickplate off of the door frame and see if the padding under your floor mat is wet. There has to be moisture in the cab somewhere or that wouldn't be happening.

I'm with Promisekeeper, You need to go a little deeper. If i found a wet pad or worse I'd pull everything back and check for the start of rust. By the time your done you may even end up pulling the seat and mat to attack the decay and to get it right.

yeah, hopefully i have some time this weekend to pull it up. i need to relay it down anyway its a little off
