Well I'm fixing to BITE THE BULLET and order the kit. Anyone tell me anything about them, GOOD, BAD, indifferent ?????. I watched the video on the install, looks pretty straight forward.
-
well iīve never installed or had one... but i have seen them and they really look clean and nice... i was on their website and the flush rear window kits look great too... theyīre about 245 i donīt its expensive... seems like a decent price... the side windows go for over 600 seems like a lot at first... but after you think about all the work that goes into these kits i don't think their at all that expensive.. a single vent window can go for over 400 or a window for about 60+ each and the channel kit about 100... compare that to 600 for an awesome single window kit with no whistling at highway speeds or water sometimes seeping in (issues with the vent windows).. makes me want to get a kit too...

We sell them cheaper than you can get them from OPP...
I have sold over a hundred + of them. Best advice, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. The 73-87 kits are pretty simple installs. Previously I had all kind of calls where some shop/ownerwanted to re-engineer it and screwed it up or didn't read the installation instructions.

They are $675 + shipping, per the link that 81_Chevy provided.

I will be putting these in my 74 as soon as I get to that point. When I do I will take detailed pics and do a write up for you Chris.

I put one in my 87 short step and it is fantastic...... My advice is to be sure to put the re-inforcing bar in the sill top (where you rest your arm when you drive) I did not at first and had to take it apart and put the steel bar in place... No Biggie, I used JBWeld and it is tight and quiet. The mirrors are rock solid.
