Title: Odometer drive gear
Post by: Son_of_a_bear on March 26, 2013, 10:36:34 pm
My speedometer works fine, but my odometer does not move.  I took the gauge out of the cluster and found that one of the plastic drive gears was broken.  I can't find this part anywhere, and don't really know how to search for it.  Can anyone help me?

You might find the parts you need at a local speedometer shop.

I didn't know those existed...no online vendors?

Google "odometer parts" and "speedometer parts."  Cross your fingers.  Local shops who repair speedometers may be your best bet for cable driven speedo heads.

Have you tried a dealership?   They might still have those.

Are you trying to service the speedo?  I don't think you will find those anywhere...
