Hi all, I have a 74 Chevy K10 shortbed truck. So, I have been trying ti find a bed for my truck and I finanlly found one on craigslist, from an 80 Chevy short bed. However, my truck has dual tanks, which I really need for hunting. But the bed that I am getting has had the drivers side fuel Neck housing filled in. So, tried to put up the pictures of the bed that the guy sent me that show the metal patch on the inside, and the bondo'd section on the outside. My question is, is there an easy way to either 1)remove the bondo and restor the fuel neck housing, or 2) where would I get an aftermarket housing. I would love to hear your input. I don't want to pass this up, because I am getting the bed for $60. But I have to figure this part out fast.

well if bondo'ed it up, he probably cut it out and put in a flat peice of metal to patch it. you have a couple options here, you could cut the piece back out and get the hole and cap from a donor truck bed side and replace it, or you could replace the whole side of the bed with a new panel, which would include the fuel hole in the correct position. just my .02$
