Title: Timing help

Ive found out recently that my timing is at the 12 o clock postion but no one sells the tab and I would really like to be able to dial in my timing can I just swap out balancers or purchase a different timing cover ?? Please help

     What year is your truck, what engine is in your truck ?

350 pre 1980 1983 c10 not the original motor can I just get a different balancer

     If you are sure about the year of engine it is possible to get the correct balancer.  Did the one you have slip or broke and moved ?  Or was it installed wrong.
     You have another option for timing.  Search the web for "timing with vacuum", some people swear by this method.  Personally I like to visually check the dist. And use a timing light.  But I have done it by vacuum and it gets it real close.
