US Body Fiberglass Tilt Front Ends?

Does anyone here have any experience with these tilt frontends?  I've been thinking about getting one for my truck instead of using the front clip that came with it.  The front clip that came with my truck needs new fenders and a new hood plus the normal de-rusting and work to make it straight and nice.  I was thinking I might like a tilt front end and by going with a fiberglass unit I wouldn't have to worry or deal with rust the rest of my life.

There website says they are in Hampton, Florida which according to Mapquest is 4 hrs 20 mins / 255.13 miles.  I have access to a trailer so I can get it myself.

The way my 1975 Jimmy is rusting right now, I could even go for an all fiberglass truck.  I love living in Florida but rust is always going to be an issue with these old trucks.

i think they were offering some of these for 1/2 price, but it was a while ago.  There was another thread on here discussing it which i don't have time to find.

Ok, i found the other thread;  It was about 4 years ago and no, they aren't offering any of them for, at the time, was $550.

But more importantly, you are worse than me;  You've been talking about this for at least 6 years and still haven't done it! ;D

i COMMAND you to either do it or stop talking about it. ;D

i would suggest looking for a front end off a topkick or schoolbus---i've seen them go for $200-$500 much cheaper and only needs minor modifications to fit.

front clip that needs new hood and fenders. not much of a clip left lol. sorry cant help you on the fiberglass

I have one, and I can recommend them...  Pick me up one, I need a 1973-80 version.  they give discounts for buying 2.  I would like something else from them too...
