I got some Sierra 2500 fender decals hot off of ebay for my 86'. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of where I should place them? I have an idea and could definitely eye ball it, but I figure why not be spot on. From what I can tell, decals placed by the factory look to be about 2'' away from the rear of the fender and 1-2'' under the bend in the fender. Thanks for any input.

Did you find the information you were looking for?

Nope, I was hoping someone knew off the top of their head on here

What you posted was close from what I remember. If you email me in the morning I will check.

Wouldn't hurt, thanks. I assume you have a truck with original fender decals?

So I went with 3" from the rear of the panel, and 1.5"(the lettering) below the bend, just in case anyone was wondering. It looks pretty good. Also, a piece of advise.. Read the instructions on the adhesive before you do anything like I didn't. I had some leakage from behind the emblem directly after placement and didn't wipe it off immediately like the instructions say to do.. Yea, that stuff eats paint :'(

Pics?

I tried to attach some pics but its saying the files are too big, and i would have to pay for a file converter program. If you have any suggestions of how to post a pic within the file size restrictions I'm all ears.

You can resize for free with paint.

It's probably too late, but in the future if you need reference i think this is a good source:

P.S. In fact, i just learned from that site that a 3/4 chassis cab with dual wheels was available in for 73.
