I'm sure this has been covered and sorry to annoy anyone for asking if so... Any how, how looking to see what the biggest and smallest tires I would have the option on lacing to the stock 15 rim on my 86 c10. I'm looking for a budget wide white wall tire and having more options might help me borrow my search. Thanks again guys, and if it been discussed on an already existing thread I'd appreciate the link.

Any idea on the width of your rims? 7"?
If they are 7" wide rims then you can fit about a 215-265 wide tire.
Narrowest would be a 215/75R15
Smallest Diameter would be a 245/65R15
Tallest would be about a 265/75R15
List:
245/65R15 - 27.5"
235/70R15 - 28.0"
245/70R15 - 28.5"
255/70R15 - 29.1"
265/70R15 - 29.7"
215/75R15 - 27.7"
225/75R15 - 28.3"
235/75R15 - 28.9"
245/75R15 - 29.5"
255/75R15 - 30.0"
265/75R15 - 30.7"
215/80R15 - 28.5"
(Diameters are approximate for Highway tread. If Traction Tread they will be slightly larger)
***Again...this assumes 7" wide rims, which I do not know your rim width***

If the rims are base stock, then they are actually 15" X 6" and smallest tires that came stock were 195/75 -15, the largest 235/75 15's.
Rallyes are probably different.

Sorry for the long delay but, Thanks for both of your help. I honestly had forgot to even think about figuring out rim width. I'll take a look but. Thanks for both of your time. It should set me in the right direction at least.

Just for the heck of it, i weighed the stock steel 15x6 rim and it's between 20-24 lbs. My scale is not real accurate but it's definitely in the 20-24 lbs range.
To put it in perspective, the 2013 spark, the cheapest, smallest car chevy sells comes standard with 15" rims.
the sonic, the next largest car from chevy is available with 16 and 17" rims.
