i'm new to this website. I just got a 1979 blazer trailering special. my blazer has 3/4 ton axles. did that come stock with trailering special?

I'm not an expert on this but I don't think they did. Here is something that may help you out. I have known about it for a while but couldn't remember the websit until someone posted it. Do you still have the little stickers in the glove box? If so then look up the RPO codes and they will tell you exactly what your truck should have been equipped with. But either way looks like a good deal for you!!

No I don't have the stickers in the glovebox=[ wish I did.

By 3/4 ton axles do you mean 8-lug axles? It should have 6-lug axles from the factory.  Swapping out the 10 or 12-bolt 6-lug rear axle for an 8-lug 14-bolt is not uncommon.  The entire front could be swapped or just the outer 8-lug parts swapped.
