So I post on here my new truck my 79 c10 that I was gonna put/build a 383 to put in it. Well I got a job offer last week that I'm taking so now its will be a daily driver (only 10miles a day) I I start tuning it up this weekend new air filter fixed leak on oil sending unit fixed break light with some help from you guys then I go to change oil and notice my oil Pan seal is leaking bought new seal and get to work well this is where things start to

😡WRONG😡 one bolt striped out carp! So I say well have to re tap it I clean the hole out pack with quick steel and then re drill pilot hole for tap 😳 is that water pouring from my hole!!!!!???? No no no so freaking mad at myself right now I might be riding a bicycle to work if I can't get it fixed
Sorry know this is long just need to vent to people who could feel my pain😰

So what happened? Did you drill to deep when re-drilling the whole and hit a water channel or something?

Yes that what I did lol couldn't believe it
Buddy of mine told to go head and tap hole And use a plug the kind you put in with a Allan head with a thread sealer on it the put back in for drain pan

tap the hole, put a set screw with aviation on it in the hole.
