That looks great!  What did you do the back wall of the cab, pic with the seat leaned forward?  Looks like carpet up to below the window.

That's a custom built storage shelf & trim that I painted black.
It's a storage shelf behind the seat and a piece that goes just below the rear window.
It was done in grey tweed with the previous interior. I liked the pieces so I painted it with SEM paint when I redid the interior.

Curious about the bed.  Did you build a new one out of re-pop parts or clean up the old one?  Looks prefect.  Nice truck.

That is the original bed.

Since my Dad had it since new I can confirm that it is original. It was used over the years but well taken care of too.

When I got my truck the bed had 1/2 inch ply wood in it, so I took it off and was amazed that the bed floor had never been touched! There was not a single dent or scratch in the floor.

That was a stroke of luck, usually they're trashed or rusted away..

That is a really nick looking truck.  Was those photo's taken at a car show, or are all those cars in the background yours ?
What changes were done to the truck since the last time you were on here ?

The photos with cars in the background where taking at an indoor show.

Since the last post I have changed:
- Wheels to Billet Specialties wheels
- I did an Endurashine intake & carb, with Lokar throttle cables, Edelbrock fuel pump, new valve covers, breathers, & air breather
- everything under the hood assembled using ARP stainless 12pt bolts
- EMS Billet hood hinges
- Optima battery (painted black with smooth top & installed backwards to hide cables & connections
- custom made billet trim pieces for the door panels

I think that's most of it... There's a few other things under the hood we did  I'm sure.

How was installing the Lokar throttle cable?  I have considered that and wondered how hard it was to adjust?

It was a nice, easy, clean install. I did the throttle cable, kick down cable, & a nifty billet bracket that mounts to the back of the carb that they mount to.

Did you have to cut the cable to adjust the length?

Yes I did. The one I bought was way too long so it was cut to fit. Pretty easy set up.
