OK, I got my toy in the mail today... I tried a number of times but always got out bid but not this time. Does anyone have a link to ID this bad boy. The only info I could find is up to 1975. The service sticker is 70BPBT1. I am guessing the (7) dates it a 1977 but I can't figure out the (0) not that it is that big of deal but inquiring minds want to know. This radio is a NOS AM 8-track stereo. Never installed supposedly. This one is going in my extended cab for now.

I just have to say that's BA to find a NOS 8-track. What I have found is that model comes from mid to later corvettes and Camaros. I found this website that you can buy the original manual for $22. Ill post the link, because I know Capt does not sell these, so should not be against the rules. Hope it helps and keeps us posted what you find, because you got me curious now.

Thanks, because it is pre-1978 the plugs are different. The radio came with 2 of the 3 and the 3rd has been discontinued that specifically is for the rear speakers. Now I have to find that plug before I can use it. ARGGGGGGGH!!! I thought it was a cool addition and very unique being an AM 8-track stereo.

You got a picture of the back where the plugs are....be curious to see what it looks like.

Search eBay for "ac delco radio plug" I found a bunch, don't know which style you need. Hope this helps, I am curious if you find the correct ones. Or if those are not it, if you post a pic of the plug area I might be able to have some made (I use to hook up car audio for many years and I know some people). Keep us posted

Is the plugs however if you click on the second picture of the 3 plugs, the middle and one on the right is correct and the ones I have, the one on the left needs to be 4 prong which has been discontinued, according to that very eBay seller...

Here is a picture, the missing one is the one I need. The actual plug may be a part of some other aspect or control other than the radio. I am searching Craigslist "parting out 73-77 Chevy Camaro, and others" to start with.

Found the plug I needed in my son's former boss's stash. Now to determine which is the (+) and which is the (-) for the rear. The dk blue and lt blue is the RR and the br and yellow is the LR.
-
GM has remained fairly consistent through the years.
Left Rear:
Right Rear:
- Light Blue (+)
- Dark Blue (-)
And, for comparison...
Left Front:
Right Front:
- Dark Green (+)
- Light Green (-)

Awesome, thank you!!! Now can I assume the green is + and the black is - as far as the plug coming out of my radio for the front speakers? I am thinking this is a front speaker mono plug. The same plug on ebay compares but has different colors.
My plug Green Green Black Black, the stereo one Gray Green Brown Black.
This is a 1977 radio RPO UM1

I believe that in the combination Green/Green/Black/Black your assumption is correct. Green is (+) and Black is (-).

Thanks for confirming Rich, now I can solder up my conversion adapter and install it. I need to run by Radio Shack for some solder a shrinkable tubing.
