My '83 Silverado came from Georgia and was on a farm, so needless to say, it saw it's share of sun and heat. The grille is original - split by a center body-colored & chrome stripe. I would like to do a mild restoration of the rest of the grille and the headlight bezels, but I don't know what they were originally? Were they "chromed" plastic, or were they painted. If painted, what color - silver, gray, black? I can't seem to tell from the pics I've found online and you never know which of those you can trust to be original anyhow.
Thanks!
Jim

It was kind of a silver. I need to find the correct color so I can re-do mine correctly.

Look for the argent colors similar to wheels...
