Title: Front end panel gaps

Hey guys just recently picked up my "first" squarebody, its a 1986 Chevy C10 SWB 350/350. Im a welder by trader but have wanted to get an old project truck to get familiar with automotive. I had bought a non-running 1986 GMC LWB truck about 3 years ago, no motor/trans. I tore it all the way down and saw the firewall was completely rusted thru, so I lost hope. Two weekends ago I picked up a running 86, which I now call my first since I am actually able to drive it lol. Anyways the fenders and hood it came with were dented and wavy so I got the ones from my other 86 and put them on. Trying to get my gabs decent, but cant seem to get it. Can anyone look at these pictures and give me any advise on getting them better?

Cant adj fenders inward, or do i need to shift entire radiator core support? Any ideas be greatly appreciated.

I "think" if you shim the bottom of the drivers fender it should push the top in. Now that being said never had to line one up. Also start with the cab corner and work your way forward. Since you can't adjust the cab

Looks like the support might need to move to the right a bit, possibly the back of the right fender out a little at the top. The back of the hood looks pretty even in the pic. Hard to tell good from pics though.
Hows the front of the hoodline up forward, and back to both fenders?
Even GM panels don't line up really perfect, aftermarkets tend to be even more of a pain.

Everything looks good except for what seems to be needing to shift radiator support. Ill try that this weekend and update, hopefully it works.
