I have a 1976 C20 which had 16.5" wheels. They have hubcaps, and I believe both are stock. They look like this:

After one of my tires ripped itself apart, I replaced them with some 16" wheels/tires I got off craigslist so I don't have to deal with finding 16.5" tires from here on. So now I have four of those hubcaps, four of those 16.5" wheels, and three 16.5" tires. Not sure if anybody would care about the wheels, as I think there might be easier-to-deal-with 16" wheels from a later model that these hubcaps fit, but people interested in restoration (or just having stock/vintage parts) might still want the hubcaps.
On the other hand, looking at ebay...

...they don't seem terribly hard to find.
I'm lazy, and don't care about making the $20-$60 off them that ebay might suggest, but don't want to get bad "truck karma" either. :) So given that I'd prefer to just go to a tire shop and get everything off my hands (with recycling/dumping them being my next step), should I be trying to ensure these items (or at least the hubcaps) "stay in circulation"? Or are they a dime a dozen and it doesn't really matter what I do with them?
I have a horrible pack rat nature that I've been fighting lately. My traditional "solution" to this problem would be to keep them indefinitely "just in case"...

If you got the room keep em. They are quite common but they are drying up. I have had luck on Craigslist if you have the time and are diligent in renewing your ads every 2 days to keep them to the front of the line. They will eventually sell. I just sold a tail light lens today that I've been advertising about 4 years... My $.02

If they're good and straight then you might want to go ahead and save them. If you ever decide to go back to hubcaps, then you'll have them already and not have to pay money to re-buy a set.
At the very least, they can be hung high on a garage wall and serve as decoration...

If I do keep them, hanging them on the wall is a good idea to at least keep them out of the way. Mounting stuff on walls is something that rarely occurs to me for some reason (too many years moving from apartment to apartment before finally getting a house, maybe). I'm not sure I'd have the sticktoitiveness to keep something on craigslist for four years. :)
