Hey all, need some help. I just did a manifold and carb swap on my 350. I put a holley 4160 with the overdrive bracket on it and the throttle cable is way to long where i have to hook it up on the bracket. I would use the stock bracket but it sits too low and the tv cable and throttle cable would be at bad angles.
What i want to know is, is there any way i can adjust the throttle cable in any way to take the slack out and mount it? Can I slide the cable mount piece back, to extend the actual cable, cut to shorten the cable and put a new connector on it? I tried but i dont want to force anything.
Thanks for any insight

i remeber working on mine, had to bend the bracket to make it work

I cant really bend the bracket :/ any other suggestions? would i have to get a new cable? i really dont want to but i drove it tonight and the throttle was stiff of course... ridiculously stiff. (arndt says thats what she said)

You may be able to shorten it at the other end where it attaches to the gas pedal.

put a crescent wrench on it and bend her. take it off if you think you might break something and put her in a vice
