I saw a comment in another thread about using a Summit or Holley electric fuel pump . rather than muddy up another persons thread I thought starting another would be best .
A while back I used a late model 350 that did not have a place for a mechanical fuel pump and a fine gentleman sent me a pump like this straight from Summit .
It worked really well . Run it for a year before the 350 broke a piston . Only drawback was the pump noise . I mounted it solid to the frame just after the tank switch .
I took a vid of the noise with the truck running at an idle . Maybe this will help someone decide if the noise is too much for them

That's a ridiculous amount of noise for a street vehicle! :o

Wow you can hear it over the engine. Was it new when you got it?

There has to be something wrong with it. I wouldn't think they would make it that loud on purpose. Unless they planed it. Hey what's that noise, oh its nothing but my summit fuel pump. Free advertisement lol
