I'm wanting to install a 4" lift kit on my 77 k10. My question is this. I don't want any supprises when I'm done. I have herd of people getting vibrations and swaying. Other than what comes in the kit is there any additional equipment I need to use. Like sway bar drop kits, transfer case drop kits or longer drive line. I was thinking of using thr rough country kit. I want to do it right. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Check and see what each kit comes with, My 77 k5 came with the 4in rc lift on it so can't really help on that but every other lift kit I've bought for my diesels all came with sway bar drops etc if it was required.

This is true. Most manufactures are trying to stay "apples to apples". But once in a while there is the one that throws in the extra.
Also you should pay attention to the "suggested" items that are with the lift. These items will usually make the lift the most complete. Just so you know, ruff country is called that for a good reason, their lifts are rough for sure.

agree about rough country being rough. but imo its not the lift that does the swaying and its not 100% of the rough ride either. a big part of the swaying is the sidewalls of the tires. i had 38x16x16 super swampers. the swayed and wore funny so i put a set of military hummer tires on her. goodyear 37.5x8(i think)x16.5 much straighter ride and mpgs went up a couple
