I'm in the process of building a 86 C30 dually, I have installed the axle flip kit and C notch's, but I am having a hard time finding 3" drop springs for the front. I found a set for a 86 Suburban, but not sure if they will fit( cant see why they wouldn't) but wanted to ask someone who might know before I buy them. SO, does anyone know if they will fit, or know where I might find a set for my truck? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

Does anyone know why a suburban front coil spring wont fit the same year truck? I have a C30 I am looking to get 3" drop springs for, Iv been able to find them for the big block suburban, but nothing for a truck.

I was under the impression the spring pockets were all the same thus any spring should physically fit from the 2 wheel drive 73-87 C series. Spring rates are different due to engine size, type and whether it has AC or not. Cutting coils lowers but stiffens. I would think an application for the 85-87 1/2 ton C10, non-AC with a 4.3L would be the lightest of the springs out there. I don't know if it will do what you want it to though.
