Well I just recently acquired a 12 bolt rear out of 79 lwb. When I picked it up I noticed my buddy had cut the e-brake cables. How hard are those to change out? how hard would a disc brake conversion be?

Cut the ends off? They are a pain but they can be removed with some tension and a screwdriver.
Rear discs are more of an undertaking.
