So the other day I left for work almost as usual except in stead of driving the bike I had to take the truck in light of the new shoes the I just put on. As soon as I got on the interstate I had to slam on my brakes and to my surprise, as well as the whole right lane beside me, I flew right as if I jerked the wheel. My first thought was great...proportioning valve is shot and I continued to think this until that night. Which is when I remembered my neighbor (completely mechanically handicapped) sprayed Mequires tire shine on my my drivers side tires and apparently got my rotor and ne $50 pads that I just put on. Thankfully no one got hurt especially old blue. I did fix the problem with sand paper and a wire brush after taking the caliper off.
Be ware of good intention neighbors with no sense....
