I did some searching already but feel free to direct me. I have an 84 k10 4speed I plan to swap out the 305 carb for a 1987 350 tbi.
Question is will it be a straight swap aside from the harness and ECM. Do accessories like distributer and water pump interchange? What about mounts?
-
Sorry and the fuel pump. I believe they are located in the tank for the 87 but on the firewall for the 84 can I use the same one or upgrade it to keep it on the firewall?
-
Never heard of a factory fuel pump on the firewall. For the TBI you will need an electric pump.
-
Does anyone know about the water pump and distributer and alternator. If I can keep down the cost by reusing these it would help a lot.
-
The distributor is specific to the TBI. If it is running non serpentine water pump won't matter.

Howell only does harnesses, if you already have a working one why buy a new one?
Get everything from a donor and it should work.

Sorry I should have mentioned the motor I am getting is coming with the harness and computer. Thank you for the info so far
