Title: Problems
Post by: darmentle on October 05, 2013, 04:50:33 pm
So i have some things i am trying to to fix on my 73. One is the gas gauge and the defrost. As for the gas gauge all my other gauges work but the gas . So i was trying to find the ground on the fuel tank but i cant see it do i need to pull the tank? or is the ground in a different spot?

The heater/defrost i turn it on and nothing i checked all the fuses everything is good. Is there something common that go out on these like a relay?

Not sure with the heater and defrost not working. But what way is the gauge needle pointing, dual or single tank? If its at the 3 o'clock position is has a ground issue. The other way it may be the sender, gauge or the pink wire from the sender to the gauge.

Gas gauge is currently pointed down in the 6o Clock position.
