Sold a 79 CJ7 and picked this up for around 5k.... Absolutely love the truck. Had a 85 Sierra 1/2 ton about 10 years ago and had to buy this when I went and looked at it. 8)
Its a 1983 was originally a 2x4 Big block truck. Previous owner has made it 4x4 with 4 wheel disc breaks. All the rocker panels and cab corners already replaced almost no rust and He had the Engine and transmission rebuilt about 8k miles ago. Nice to have a fresh 454 and good transmission already for me. Has a 1 inch body lift, 4inch rear shackle flip kit and 1'' zero rate add a spring in the front. Running on Parnelli Jones Dirt grips 38x15.5R16's.....
Sitting pretty good just have to get the roof painted due to some paint bubbles and peeling. Has a broken RF axle shaft and unfortunately I need a pair a Parnelli Jones tires for the rear, but they are pretty much non existent so I'll probably change all 4 to a set of swampers.

Nice rig.
I have a serpentine belt setup like that that I am planning on using on my '77 K30.

this truck is the essence of bad *ss! ever thought of getting the windows tinted?

Engineer- I like the serp belt system the only thing is that when the engine is cold there is always a belt squeak. Doesn't bother me to much so I haven't looked at fixing since it goes away when warm.
81- definitely plan on tinting the windows but I've got a few other priorities that are gonna come first.
