Howdy all. Love this forum and looking forward to learning tons about my newly acquired 75' c10 shortbed. It has a 67' 327 that has been punched to 331. Has comp cam 277/282, 470 lift at 50. It has 4.10 gears in back and I just had a 700r4 installed. With all this I am loving my truck but its seems it feels a bit like it pulling an anchor. Its just not as responsive as I feel like it should be with this set up. One thing I am wondering is if the carb is bad. It seems to run fine and start after a few trys when cold in the morning. Theres no linkage for the choke on either side. It s edelbrock 1406 600cfm. I am leaning towards the new street demon 625. Anyways I LOVE my truck. I lowered it already and have lots of other plans. BUT I want here first and foremost to be FAST AS heck.
