Next up on my project list is my suspension. I want to drop 2 1/2 in front and 4 in rear. I want to order drop spindles for front and shackles and hangers for rear. I want to change out coil springs, leafs and shock in the process. What are some things I should look out for to make the job go smooth?

I HAVE A 81 GMC , THIS HAD A ROUGH HARD SUSPENSION I CUT THE SPRINGS ABOUT 1 1/2 TURNS THIS LOWERED THE TRUCK ABOUT 3'' NOW FOR THE REAR I STRAIGHTEN OUT THE LEAF SPRINGS NOTE THE STRAIGHTER THIS THINGS ARE THE LOWER THE REAR WILL GET. SO I GET A 3'' AND 4'' WITH OUT BUYING ABSOLUTLY NOTHING. NOTE: AND THE RIDE FOR SOME REASON IS ALOT SMOOTHER THAN ORIGINAL. NOT BOUNCY NOR STIFF.
I ALSO WAS ABLE TO PUT 22'' WITH 285-35-22 WITHOUT SCRAPING THE INNER FENDERS.
