What to do about destroyed seat-belt sheathing?
Can it be replaced? Will not having it cause the belt or seat to wear out?

My initial thought is the seat or belt won't be affected by a lack of sheathing.
However, you might provide a bit more information; such as where the sheathing is located, seat type (bench or bucket), year model, etc. The sheathing may be able to be replaced. Photos of where/what can be helpful.

are you talking about right where it bolts to the floor beside the seat?
-
Sorry. They are bench seats. Where the seatbelts come up through the cushions.

Best bet would be the junkyard I think. Perhaps ebay? I just think something looks incomplete without them, not like theyre necessary.

You might also check with the site administrator, Capt Kaos. There may be a reproduction or something similar available that would work.

No reproductions for those as it was part of the seat belt assembly. We are waiting for the kit to come out from Retrobelt in December.

Updates?

I actually forgot to add these to the store but they are available. They list for $199 a pair, I will have to look up my cost. I have sold a few since I posted this...
The are left and right shoulder belts (middle lap is extra) and they come in black, blue, bright red, burgandy, dark blue, grey, powder blue and tan.
They have a starburst button (not GM)
