BUY A CHEAP TRUCK COVER WITH BIG LETTERS ""PROUD FORD OWNER"""!!!
Seriously...... It wouldn't hurt to have a recent thread on what little things we can do to keep our trucks out of the hands of thieves. There seem to be no shortage of people these days who would rather steal than have a honest job........

Hold on until the second sentence I thought that you were serious... But you also have to remember that there are some demented people out there that would take it because it said ford, likely to be converted after first drive though.
This is actually a very good idea. I have had so many people from all walks of life approach me everywhere I go including honking horns at redlights to get my attention. Highly desirable body styles that attract a lot of attention.
Currently, I pull the 10amp fuse for the PCM when I park in shady places. I'd say an upgrade is in need for me!

there are a few options i´ve been thinking about.. ive installed an ignition cutoff switch.. pretty much prevents the engine from starting and cuts the current to the distributor.. its really well hidden.. no thieve is going to sit there and try to see why wont it start...another idea is the gps tracker the one that uses a sim card and your able to cut the current to the ignition by sending a simple text message.. thats great if you get a gun pointed to your face and you have to let your truck go..

Yes, manual transmission because most thieves don't know how to drive a stick.

HAHA YES! This is so sadly true, 3 pedals and a floor shift is all you need to scare off half the thieves who even get into the truck. I'd say that and the ignition cutoff are your best options. or, any of these
