Title: rear spring hangar replacement

hey guys! gonna have to replace the rear spring hangars. Any suggestions on best way to get the old rivets out. also, best source to buy new ones......thanks

Air chisel from the back side.  Grade 8 fine thread bolts for the replacement hangers.

I read it to fast I guess, I was thinking replacement rivets... DOH...  I am sure someone here has had to replace some.

Need more info on what you are working on but to get the rivets out, grind an X in the head and then hit it with an air chisel.

If I'm ditching the old hangers, I torch off the rivet heads and punch out the rest, If I'm pulling off old hangers to use, I heat the heads til they glow cherry red but not til they start to oxidize, and one solid whack with a 3 lb hammer and a cold chisel takes em right off.
