I just noticed that the previous owner never hooked it up where is a good place to plug it into on the carb i have a holley truck avenger. i haven't had any performance issue with disconnected.
Part2
So i connected the vacuum advance and now when i drive between 1500-2000RPM i hear a strange KEk kek kek sound coming from what i think is the distributor. it only does it under load and goes away a little after 2000Rpm. Thoughts ?

Try this: www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10268-4rev2.pdf
sorry if its a wrong link, cant open it on my school laptop. there should be an open port somewhere to connect it too.

Thanks i see the little male fitting on the carb that says Timed Spark Vacuum Source Do i have to Check the timing after i hook that up .

No, you should always set ignition timing with the vacuum advance disconnected, then re-connect it.

Thanks again
