This May be a simple question but what 16 inch rims will fit a 1984 Scottsdale k10. Can I just grab some 6hole Chevy rims or do I look for certain years? :-\
-
i think you can pretty much grab any chevy 6 lug rims. been a while since i researched but i want to say the only problem is with 8 lug and thats not untill mid 2000.

Pretty much as Irish said, as long as they are 16 inch. What style wheel are you looking for?
Most of the factory 73-87 Chevy/GMC 6-hole wheels were 15 inch. This included the ralley wheels and white steel wheels with hubcaps. One could option 6-hole/16 inch, white steel wheels with hubcaps (at least in the early 70's). Other than that, you'd be looking more to the later style Chevy/GMC truck wheels.
You can get the 6-hole/16-inch plain steel w/hubcap variety of wheel new from Dexter wheel.

I got rims. That was a pain. Turns out up to 1984 the center hole needs a diameter of 3.45-3.4" the size changed in 1985. ???

sorry buddy forgot about the whole cv part. man i feel bad for that screw up, should of known but i didnt think about it. the change is when chevy went from soild front axle to idf. you have to be able to fit the hub for it to work
