Title: 85 C10 Hitch
Post by: jbreeves85C10 on November 10, 2013, 02:42:45 am
I have an 85 C10 with roll pan and have searched here and everywhere for a hidden hitch type setup to put behind the plate on a hinge. Has anyone recently found somewhere that sales this or is the status still make my own? Another caveat... this week I am installing the 2.5/4" drop kit as well. BTW, thanks Johnny Walnuts for the drop shock info. I found them and ordered..!
Thanks in advance.
JB

I think you are going to have to make one, as it would have to be made to miss the spare or be packaged deeper.

Thanks for reply Chris. I don't have spare tire and found this:

Will have to cut square in my roll pan but no Biggie. It will be hidden behind the fold down hinge plate holder I ordered.

I saw a similar thing on the tv show gearz that's jbreeves mentioned. it was pretty cool setup being you could'nt tell it was their and then the license plate flipped down and their was the receiver.

Mine is on the way and I'll post some pics of the process when I can. Got the engine down to the block on a stand at the moment.
