Title: Gears
Post by: kodalee on November 15, 2013, 09:43:25 pm
I just found out today that my 85 k10 has 3.08 in the rear end. I would like to end up with 37s. what should i do for gears.
Also my tires are dry rotted i was wondering if i could run 33s with zero lift.

what trans?
3.08 will be hard to turn 33 not saying it wont but with a lot of stop and go it might put a little too much stress on the trans, let alone 37s. imo i would op for 3.73 if you will be seeing mostly highway. if you plan on hard core mudding go with 4.10 or 4.56
