Is there such a thing as a dimmable led bulb, you can use for your dash cluster? I just dont wanna be totally blinded. 8)Bulbs are 194s right? I know an led is either off or on. Does any one have pics of the chrome reflector process?

Follow the links:
- Colored Dash Lights (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=26306.msg219102#msg219102)
- ...will the dimmer still work? (http://www.superbrightleds.com/carbulb_notes.php#dimmer)
- Super Bright LEDs - #194 (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/miniature-wedge-base/). Compare bulb luminosity using the "Relative Intensity" graph with each bulb listing.

Which do you recommend to use? I just want white ones, not colored.

Peruse the Notes Concerning Conversion to LED Car Bulbs (http://www.superbrightleds.com/carbulb_notes.php). Your choices of color and luminosity are personal and depend on the look you want, though limiting factors may be availability of a particular color in the style you want and the price. You should do more research before settling on either. For a factory look, I would concentrate on the warm white or natural white. Cool white LEDs emit a definite bluish cast. There's a link in the 'notes' that illustrates the relative color temperatures of the various white LEDs.

I changed my dash to white face gauges with blue LEDs. Bought them at superbrightLEDs, and I bought two different kinds to try and fine the brightness I like, because there were only like a buck a piece.

I got these white LEDs off eBay,not
dimmable but they're not blindingly bright. got 20 for about $7 (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/07/ve7ejugu.jpg)
